The Welcome Home Project is a group of residents who sponsor a refugee family or individuals to come to Australia, as part of the four-year Community Refugee integration and Settlement Pilot (CRISP) program*. This pilot links Community Supporter Groups like WHPG with a refugee family.

As a participant in the CRISP program, the WHPG provides settlement support for the refugee family or individual refugees that WHPG is matched with for a period of 12 months.

Newlife Care plays a vital role in supporting the Welcome Home Project Group (WHPG) by raising funds to facilitate initial housing and settlement for refugee families and individuals.

This support includes helping newcomers secure accommodation, employment, and access to education, as well as fostering their integration into the local community.

Additionally, Newlife Care provides essential coverage for Public Liability and related insurances, ensuring the safety and security of the group's activities.

To further assist the Refugee Sponsorship Group, Newlife Care offers a pathway for donors to make tax-deductible contributions directly through their website, leveraging their deductible gift recipient (DGR) status.

This comprehensive support enables WHPG to focus on successfully settling and empowering refugees in their new home.
